SBA released a new proposed rule for Small Business Size Standards: Calculation of Annual Average Receipts.

SBA proposed a modification to its method for calculating annual average receipts used to prescribe size standards for small businesses. Specifically, consistent with a recent amendment to the Small Business Act, SBA proposes to change its regulations on the calculation of annual average receipts for all receipts based SBA size standards and other agencies’ proposed size standards for service-industry firms from a 3-year averaging period to a 5-year averaging period. Israeli radar company to open U.S. headquarters in Germantown.

Maryland state officials said Tuesday that defense radar company RADA Technologies, LLC, is planning to open a new U.S. headquarters in Germantown later this year with the goal of adding 80 jobs to the area by December 2023. Access more information here.

DHS/ICE announced that they have decided not to compete an Agile Software BPA. DHS/ICE will instead move these requirements to 8(a) STARS II, NITAAC CIO-SP3, and Alliant 2. This comes on the heels of DHS/TSA canceling the highly anticipated FAST BPA, and moving those requirements to NITAAC CIO-SP3 and Alliant 2 as well.
